Admission Process at DPS Bhilai
Admission procedures differ by class. For Nursery in 2026-27, online registration was followed by scrutiny of forms and a draw of lots. The school required the child’s Aadhaar number and personal details matching the birth certificate.
For Class IX, candidates need at least 80% aggregate in the Class VIII half-yearly examination. Eligible applicants take a written test in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science and Social Science, followed by an interview for shortlisted students.
Class XI registration for non-DPS Bhilai students requires at least 80% aggregate in the five main Class X subjects. Shortlisted applicants are considered through an interview for available seats in Science, Commerce or Humanities.
For Nursery and Class IX in 2026-27, the registration fee was about ₹800 for BSP applicants and ₹1,200 for non-BSP applicants. These are estimated reference amounts based on current admission instructions. Please confirm the final registration charge with the school office before making any payment.
