Admission Process at DPS Numaligarh

For 2026-27, fresh admission was notified from Nursery to Class IX and separately for Class XI. Registration was completed online within the dates announced for NRL-associated families and other applicants. Registration itself does not guarantee admission.

Nursery and LKG were listed for direct admission subject to age requirements. UKG involved a guided test and interaction. From Class I to IX, candidates had to take a written test followed by interaction. Class XI selection was based on a screening test and panel interaction. The school publishes the relevant admission-test syllabus separately.

The registration fee is estimated to be around ₹1,000 based on the 2026-27 admission notice. Please confirm the final amount with the school office before making any payment.

Eligibility Criteria

For 2026-27, Nursery required a minimum age of 3 years, LKG 4 years, UKG 5 years and Class I 6 years as on April 1, 2026. The minimum age then increased by one year for each higher class, reaching 14 years for Class IX. Class XI applicants were required to be at least 16 years old.

The school also requires written and spoken knowledge of English. Candidates must satisfy the applicable test or interaction requirement and seat availability. Class XI applicants should check the offered subject combination before registration because later changes are normally not allowed.
