Delhi Public School Tapi is a CBSE-affiliated school at Veluk village on the Dandi-Jahangirabad Road in Surat district. Founded in 2009, the campus covers roughly 6.5 acres and was developed to serve families in the expanding residential belt around north-west Surat. The school’s admission programme is unusually detailed online: families move through registration, a guided campus presentation, a Know Each Other interaction and, for Classes I to IX, a proficiency assessment. Class XI admission is available for possible vacancies in Science and Commerce. This structured process makes it important for parents to follow the official sequence rather than rely on informal admission information.

Admission Process
For 2026-27, online registration began from September 13, 2025. Nursery and Prep applicants attend a guided Know DPS Tapi session and a documentation/interaction meeting. Classes I to IX follow the same process with an additional proficiency assessment. Both parents and the student are expected to attend the scheduled interaction.
Class XI applicants from outside DPS Tapi register online and then take an aptitude test. Shortlisted families attend a Know Your School session and complete fee and document formalities at the Vesu administrative office. The 2026-27 Class XI session began in April 2026.
A clearly readable current 2026-27 class-wise fee table is not publicly displayed on the school’s admission pages. To avoid quoting an outdated or unsupported amount, parents should request the official current fee sheet from DPS Tapi before payment.
Eligibility Criteria
The school applies strict age criteria. For 2026-27, Class I applicants were required to be 6 to 7 years old as on June 1, 2026 and born between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020. Class II required 7 to 8 years, Class III 8 to 9 years and Class IV 9 to 10 years. The corresponding date ranges are published on the admission portal.
The school also warns that details submitted in the online registration form are final. A mismatch between the date of birth or other registration data and the documents presented later can cancel the registration.
DPS Tapi Fees Structure
DPS Tapi does not currently expose a clearly readable 2026-27 class-wise fee table on its public admission page. Rather than use an older directory estimate, the table below identifies the fee components parents should obtain directly from the school.
| Fee Component | Current Public Position |
| Registration / Admission | Confirm with school |
| Tuition / Annual Fee | Confirm current 2026-27 class-wise schedule |
| Security Deposit | Refund terms published; amount should be confirmed |
| Transport | Optional; outsourced and charged separately |
The school’s admission FAQs make two financial rules clear: fees paid at admission are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, while the security deposit can be refunded after adjustment of dues. Optional bus transport, once chosen, is expected to continue for the full academic year and transport fees are not refunded for mid-year withdrawal.
Please obtain a written 2026-27 fee breakup from DPS Tapi and confirm registration, admission, tuition, security and transport charges before making payment.
